About

Reclaimed Wood Furniture, Made in Surbiton

Timbershacks began with a simple idea: create beautiful, long-lasting furniture from wood that already has a story to tell. Working from our small workshop in Surbiton, we handcraft every piece using reclaimed timber — full of character, history, and natural charm. What started as a passion for woodworking and sustainable design has grown into a trusted source of rustic, handmade furniture for homes across the UK.

How We Work

Every item is built by hand, from the first cut to the final finish. We take time to sand, shape, and treat each piece so it’s both durable and beautiful. Our process blends traditional craftsmanship with a modern eye for design, resulting in furniture that fits seamlessly into rustic, industrial, farmhouse, and contemporary homes alike.

Made to Last

We believe furniture should be solid, functional, and built to stand the test of time. That’s why we use strong joinery, quality finishes, and sturdy reclaimed timber. Whether it’s a coffee table, shelf, TV unit, or custom build, each piece is made to be used and loved for years.

Custom Builds

Your home is unique — your furniture should be too. Many of our pieces can be made to your exact size, style, and finish. If you have something in mind, we’re always happy to work with you to bring it to life.
